Doctor Strange In the Multiverse of Madness Worth Watching?

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is worth watching just for the unique storytelling style of Sam Raimi. The movie stands out clearly at the tactical level, Sam Raimi’s brilliant style of the horror genre is fully on display making the movie super-exciting.

But, on the other hand, if you look at the movie on a broader level, the focus of this movie on the ‘Scarlet Witch’ makes it a bit unexpected in a not so pleasant way. Essentially one can argue that it is a very good movie featuring Scarlet Witch but wrongly named Doctor Strange

The madness of the multiverse in this movie is essentially threaded into a thin plot of Wanda Maximoff’s obsessive motherhood. Which for some marvel fans might be a hard pill to swallow.

But, having said that this movie also highlights the importance of Doctor Strange in the overarching grander MCU plot. Also, the introduction of one new character in this movie is a hint at how other stories in the MCU will play out moving forward.
