Baki Hanma Season 1 Is It Worth Watching?
Baki Hanma Season 1 is definitely worth watching. Living up to its reputation this latest Baki anime series Baki Hanma Season 1 is a signature slow burn. Fight scenes are scarce with ample commentary and most of it is surprisingly political. The authentic manga style is there with ridiculously detailed commentary.
Unlike the tournament seasons, this one feels rather brief. The odd rivalry between Baki and his father is further explored in this anime with an interesting sub-plot. Anime fans in general and particularly Baki fans are going to thoroughly enjoy this one.
Although the buildup to the finale is painstakingly slow, some of the action-packed episodes at the back end of the season are definitely worth the wait. Compare it to manga standards and the action looks so immaculate.
How Baki Is Good If It’s Slow?
To be honest, it is very hard to explain. Despite featuring a handful of fight scenes in a complete season Baki remains at the top of almost all the martial-arts-based anime. By the looks of it, Baki seems to be applying the philosophy of less is more.
And when you watch Baki you realize that it’s all about the buildup. The detailed commentary and the slow buildup ultimately make the fight sequences extra exciting. But one should give full credit to the art directors for creating some amazing fight scenes.
All Baki fights are amazingly satisfying. The level of detail associated with each and every move is astonishingly thorough. The ever-present commentary also adds another layer of depth to the physical battles.
Baki also gets critical acclaim for its manga accuracy and authenticity.
Is Baki Hanma Season 1 Worth Watching?
If you’re a Baki fan then it’s definitely worth watching. This one is a typical Baki anime with slow buildup and even slower yet exciting fights. This anime series is really enjoyable. Fans will be eagerly waiting for more.
