Black Widow: A Farewell Flick
Finally, the Black Widow is out! Sorry to break it to you marvel fans this one is a rare standalone movie. The movie itself is very good. But it really doesn’t fit the timing of the release as phase three of the Marvel Cinematic Universe has already concluded with the Avengers: Endgame.
It seems as if the sudden surge of Black Widow’s popularity after the Endgame movie forced the think tank at marvel to sanction this standalone flick. This movie feels as if it is some sort of a farewell gift for Natasha Romanoff.
How the Black Widow is Different from other Marvel Movies?
This movie should’ve been a part of the second or the third phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). There is nothing wrong with the movie itself but this one is really going to bug some fans for being totally out of sync within the larger MCU storyline.
It’s a backstory to one of the most popular members of the Avengers team. Black Widow as a standalone movie is really good. When it comes to superhero movies, Marvel seems to have cracked the code of making fabulous movies. This one is another great movie by Marvel Studios.
Although the story of Black Widow is set way before the events of the Avengers Infinity War, this one definitely provides Marvel’s writers with many possible future storylines for the Black Widow character in the next phase.
Besides providing nice story options, this movie is a welcome closure for hardcore Natasha Romanoff fans. With her fat decided in the Avengers: Endgame it seems as if fans won’t see her in action again.
Is it a Good Marvel Movie?
Despite being released at an odd juncture in the broader MCU storyline, this one is a really entertaining movie. The story is nice with some really good action sequences. Natasha Romanoff fans are going to love it.
